Wyld Peak is an independent outdoor apparel, accessories and hiking-content brand with New Zealand roots.
We make clothing, patches, stickers, hats, bottles, journals, digital guides and outdoor gifts with more personality than the usual clean mountain logo. We also publish honest hiking guides, trail reviews and gear advice through the Trail Hub.
The aim is simple: useful things, honest information and gear people keep reaching for after the first photo has been taken.
Is Wyld Peak legit?
Yes. Wyld Peak is a real independent outdoor brand with public shipping and returns policies, verified customer reviews, active product pages, a visible team and a growing library of hiking guides.
You don’t need to take one paragraph on an FAQ page as proof. Read Wyld Peak Reviews, look through Our Story, check the product details and see whether the customer feedback lines up with what we say.
That is a better test than another trust badge telling you to relax.
What does Wyld Peak sell?
Wyld Peak sells outdoor and everyday clothing, graphic tees, hoodies, long sleeves, hats, printed patches, vinyl stickers, reusable bottles, hiking accessories, dog accessories and downloadable outdoor guides.
Some products are practical. Some are strange. A few involve Bigfoot.
Most sit somewhere between trail use, travel, camp, road trips and normal life.
Is Wyld Peak only for serious hikers?
No.
Some customers hike hard. Some walk local tracks, camp, travel, collect patches, train outdoors or simply feel better when they spend time outside. You don’t need a summit photo, expensive boots or a dramatic origin story to belong here.
The outdoors is not reserved for the fastest or fittest person on the track.
Is Wyld Peak clothing technical hiking gear?
Most Wyld Peak clothing is designed for everyday outdoor use, travel, walking, camping, layering and repeat wear rather than specialised alpine or expedition use.
A ring-spun cotton tee can be excellent for a road trip, campsite, short walk or everyday wear while still being the wrong choice for a wet multiday backcountry trip. We would rather say that clearly than pretend every shirt is technical equipment.

Where is Wyld Peak based?
Wyld Peak has New Zealand roots and works with production and fulfilment partners in primarily the United States.
The brand, hiking perspective and much of the creative direction come from Aotearoa. Production and shipping locations vary depending on the product, destination and fulfilment partner.
Are all Wyld Peak products made in the USA?
No single answer applies to every product.
Many core apparel pieces are produced or fulfilled through partners in the USA, while some products may be made or dispatched from another partner location. This can vary by item and customer destination.
Check the product page for material and production information. Your tracking email will show where your particular parcel is travelling from.
Are Wyld Peak customer reviews real?
Yes. Customer feedback appears on product pages and independent review platforms.
The most useful reviews are not always the loudest. Look for repeated comments about comfort, print quality, delivery, fit, customer support and whether the product stayed in regular use.

Why are your products on Etsy and your website?

Orders and payments
What payment methods does Wyld Peak accept?
The payment methods available to you appear securely at checkout.
Depending on your country and device, these may include major credit or debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and supported local payment options.
Wyld Peak does not directly store your complete card information.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as you notice the problem.
We will help where we can if production or fulfilment has not started. Once an order has entered production or been passed to the shipping partner, changes and cancellations may no longer be possible.
Include your order number and the exact change you need so we can check quickly.
Can I use a Wyld Peak website discount code on Etsy?
No. Discount codes issued for wyldpeak.com only work on the official Wyld Peak website unless the promotion specifically says otherwise.
Etsy promotions and website promotions run separately.
Can I use more than one discount code?
Discount-code combinations depend on the promotion and the checkout settings active at the time.
Try entering the codes at checkout. If they cannot be combined, use the one that gives you the better result.
Do you accept custom or bulk orders?
Sometimes.
We can discuss selected bulk orders, outdoor clubs, events, teams, group gifts and custom patch projects. Availability depends on quantity, design, production requirements and timing.
Contact us before placing a large standard order so we can confirm what is realistic.
Shipping and delivery
Does Wyld Peak ship internationally?
Yes. Wyld Peak ships to the USA, New Zealand, Australia, the UK and many other international destinations.
Available shipping services and costs are shown after you enter your delivery address at checkout.
How long does Wyld Peak shipping take?
Estimated delivery within the USA is generally three to seven business days. International delivery commonly takes seven to fourteen business days.
These are estimates rather than guarantees. Production time, customs checks, public holidays, severe weather and local carrier delays can extend delivery.
Check the product page and checkout for any item-specific information.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout using your location, the products in your order and the available carrier services.
Entering your delivery address will show the cost before payment. Occasional free-shipping offers may also appear when an order meets the stated conditions.
Will I receive tracking?
Yes. When a physical order is dispatched, tracking information is normally sent to the email address used at checkout.
Tracking can take a little time to show its first carrier scan after the label has been created.
Can one order arrive in separate packages?
Yes, this can happen.
Products in the same order may be fulfilled by different partners or from different locations. One parcel can therefore arrive before another, even though everything was purchased together.
Each dispatched parcel should receive its own tracking information where tracking is available.
Will I have to pay customs fees or import duties?
International customers may be charged customs duties, import taxes or local handling fees.
These charges are set by the destination country and are normally the customer’s responsibility. Wyld Peak does not control the amount or the time a parcel spends in customs.
Check your local customs guidance before ordering when you are unsure.
My tracking has not moved. Is the parcel lost?
Not necessarily.
Tracking sometimes pauses between facilities, during international handovers or while customs processes a parcel. A carrier may also miss a scan even though the package is still moving.
Give it a reasonable amount of time beyond the expected delivery window, then contact us with your order number and tracking details if nothing changes.
My tracking says delivered, but I cannot find the parcel. What should I do?
Check around the property, letterbox, reception area and any safe location used by the carrier. Ask other household members and nearby neighbours, then contact the delivery company using the tracking number.
If the parcel still cannot be found, contact us with your order number and what the carrier has told you. We will help work through the next step.
What should I do if my shipping address is wrong?
Contact us immediately.
If the parcel has not entered production or fulfilment, we may be able to correct the address. Once it has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee that the carrier will redirect it.
Customers are responsible for checking the delivery address before completing checkout.

Returns and order problems
What is the Wyld Peak return policy?
Wyld Peak does not currently accept returns for change of mind, buyer’s remorse or an incorrectly selected size.
Many items are produced in small runs or made after ordering, so checking the product measurements before purchase matters. We are happy to help with sizing before you place the order.
Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products are handled separately.
Can I exchange clothing for another size?
Size exchanges are not currently offered when the item supplied matches the size ordered and is not faulty.
Compare your measurements with the size guide on that specific product page before buying. Do not rely only on the size you normally wear because fits can differ between styles.
Contact us before ordering when you are between sizes or unsure.
What if my order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect?
Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number, a short explanation and clear photographs showing the item and the problem.
If the issue is confirmed, the available solution may be a replacement, qualifying refund or store credit, depending on the circumstances.
Damage caused by normal wear, incorrect care, accidents or misuse is not considered a manufacturing fault.
What if part of my order is missing?
First check whether the order was split into more than one shipment.
Your dispatch emails may contain separate tracking numbers. If every parcel has arrived and something is still missing, contact us with your order number and the item that was not included.
Are sale items returnable?
Sale and discounted products are final sale unless they arrive faulty, damaged or different from what was ordered.
Are original shipping costs refundable?
Original shipping charges are generally not refundable unless required by applicable law or the problem resulted from a confirmed fulfilment error.
Any approved refund will follow the terms explained in Returns and Refunds.
Can digital downloads be returned?
Digital products cannot be returned for change of mind once they have been delivered.
If a file is missing, corrupted or will not open, contact us. We will help you access a working copy rather than leave you arguing with a PDF at midnight.
Clothing, sizing and care
How do I choose the right Wyld Peak size?
Use the measurements on the individual product page.
Compare them with a similar shirt, hoodie or jacket you already own and like. Measuring a garment usually gives a more reliable result than measuring your body and guessing how much room the finished item will have.
Pay attention to whether the product is described as relaxed, semi-fitted, classic or unisex.
Is all Wyld Peak clothing unisex?
No.
The catalogue includes unisex products as well as items with men’s or women’s fits. Each product page explains the intended cut and provides the relevant size options.
Do not assume that the sizing from one Wyld Peak shirt will transfer perfectly to every other style.
What materials does Wyld Peak use?
Materials vary by product.
Depending on the item, you may find organic ringspun cotton, standard cotton, cotton blends, recycled polyester or other product-specific fabrics.
The live product page is the correct source for the item you are considering. We avoid applying one broad material claim to everything because a hoodie, windbreaker, patch and bottle clearly are not made from the same thing.
Will organic cotton clothing shrink?
Cotton can shrink when exposed to excessive heat.
Wash it cold or cool, follow the care label and use low heat or air drying when possible. High-temperature washing and drying can affect both the fit and the printed design.
How should I wash Wyld Peak printed clothing?
Turn the garment inside out, wash it cold with similar colours and avoid harsh bleach.
Use a gentle cycle where possible. Air drying is the safest option for protecting the fabric and print, although low tumble drying may be suitable when the care label allows it.
Do not iron directly over the printed design.
Will the print crack or fade?
Any printed garment will age with wear, washing and heat.
Turning it inside out, using cooler water, avoiding harsh chemicals and keeping it away from high dryer temperatures will help the design last longer.
A worn shirt should look lived in eventually. It should not be cooked into retirement by the third wash.
Will the colour look exactly like it does on my screen?
We make product images as accurate as possible, but screens display colour differently.
Lighting, device settings, fabric texture and the base garment can all create small differences between the online image and the physical product.
Are Wyld Peak shirts good for hiking?
They can work well for short walks, travel, camp, easy trails, casual outdoor use and people who prefer the feel of cotton.
Cotton dries more slowly than technical synthetic or merino fabrics, so it may not be the right choice for wet, cold or high-output backcountry conditions.
Choose the clothing for the day you are actually having.
Patches and stickers
Are Wyld Peak patches embroidered or printed?
Most current Wyld Peak patches are durable printed patches rather than embroidered patches, unless the product page says otherwise.
Many are approximately three inches wide with an iron-on backing. Check the specific listing because size, shape and finish can vary.
Are Wyld Peak patches iron-on?
Most current patches include an iron-on backing.
Iron-on application works best on flat, heat-safe fabric. It is less reliable on coated materials, stretchy fabric, waterproof shells and gear that is constantly folded, rubbed or washed.
Is it better to iron or sew on a patch?
Ironing is faster. Sewing is usually stronger.
For a jacket, backpack, work bag or anything that sees regular outdoor use, a few stitches around the edge can prevent the patch lifting over time. You can also iron it into position first, then stitch it once it has cooled.
Can I iron a patch onto a hiking backpack?
Sometimes, but check the backpack material first.
Many packs use nylon, polyester, waterproof coatings, foam or adhesives that can be damaged by heat. Sewing or adding Velcro is often safer.

Can I turn a Wyld Peak patch into a Velcro patch?
Yes.
A hook backing can be attached using suitable fabric adhesive, stitching or a combination of both. Keep the Velcro slightly inside the patch edge and allow any adhesive to cure fully before use.
Stitching is worth the extra effort when the patch will be pulled off repeatedly.
Are Wyld Peak patches waterproof?
Do not assume every patch is completely waterproof.
Printed patches are made for regular use, but repeated soaking, harsh washing and constant exposure can shorten their life. Check the individual product description and avoid prolonged saturation unless the listing specifically states otherwise.
Can I wash clothing with a patch attached?
Yes, but a stitched patch is more secure than one held only by heat-activated adhesive.
Wash cold, use a gentle cycle and air dry where possible. Turning the garment inside out or using a wash bag can reduce rubbing.
Avoid high dryer heat because it can weaken adhesive.
Are Wyld Peak stickers waterproof?
Water resistance varies between sticker products.
Many are made from durable or weather-resistant vinyl, while some listings only promise resistance to light water exposure. Check the specific product page before placing one on a vehicle or something that is frequently soaked.
For bottles, apply the sticker to a clean, dry surface and hand washing will usually be gentler than repeated dishwasher cycles.
What surfaces work best for vinyl stickers?
Clean, smooth and dry surfaces give the best result.
Water bottles, laptops, notebooks, coolers, windows and clean vehicle panels usually work well. Textured, dusty, greasy, flexible or heavily curved surfaces may cause the edges to lift.
Digital guides and downloads
Are Wyld Peak digital guides physical books?
No. Products identified as digital guides, checklists or PDFs are downloadable files.
Nothing physical will be posted unless the product page specifically says otherwise.
How do digital downloads arrive?
A download link is sent electronically after purchase, usually to the email address used at checkout.
Delivery is generally immediate, although email providers can occasionally delay or filter the message.
What format are the digital guides?
Most Wyld Peak digital products are supplied as PDF files.
They can usually be opened on a phone, tablet or computer and printed for personal use when you prefer a physical copy.
I cannot find my download email. What should I do?
Check spam, junk and promotions folders, then search your inbox for Wyld Peak or the product name.

Can I share or resell a digital guide?
Digital guides are sold for the purchaser’s personal use.
Do not resell, upload, redistribute or reproduce the files commercially without written permission.

Does Wyld Peak plant a tree for every order?
Yes. A tree is planted through a reforestation partner for each completed order.
Tree planting is one part of the brand’s approach. We do not treat it as a magic eraser for every environmental impact involved in making and shipping products.
Is Wyld Peak a sustainable brand?
We are trying to make better choices without pretending perfection.
That includes using organic or recycled materials where specified, producing selected apparel after it is ordered, avoiding unnecessary overproduction, keeping products useful beyond one trend and planting a tree with every order.
The exact material and production details still depend on the individual product. Clear information matters more than putting the word sustainable over everything.
Why are some products made to order?
Producing an item after it is purchased can reduce unsold stock and unnecessary overproduction.
The trade-off is that fulfilment may take longer than pulling a mass-produced item from a warehouse. We think that is worth being honest about before you order.

Does Wyld Peak publish hiking guides?
Yes.
The Trail Hub includes New Zealand trail guides, hikes in the USA, hiking advice, gear guides and Field Notes about the wider outdoor experience.
The guides aim to explain what a walk actually feels like, including difficulty, crowds, parking, weather, access, risks and whether the payoff justifies the effort.
Are Wyld Peak trail guides based on real experience?
Many guides include firsthand trail experience, field notes and original photographs. Current official information is also checked where permits, closures, safety rules or access conditions matter.
A useful trail guide should combine both. Experience tells you what the walk feels like. Official sources tell you whether the gate is currently open.
Are trail conditions and rules always current?
Outdoor conditions can change quickly.
Storm damage, fire risk, maintenance, seasonal closures, permits and local rules can change after an article is published. Check the relevant land manager, park authority or official alert page before leaving.
The trail does not care when Google last indexed the article.
