The Forecast Looked Fine at the Trailhead

Then the clouds rolled in, the wind picked up and suddenly the ridge didn't look quite so inviting. Anyone who's spent enough time in the mountains knows how quickly a good plan can turn into a very sensible retreat.

The Weather Doesn't Negotiate T-Shirt puts that lesson front and centre, with bold mountain-weather artwork and the words “Confidence Is Not a Shelter.” A fairly blunt message, but the mountains aren't exactly known for their customer service.

It's a regular-fit graphic tee for road trips, camping weekends, easy walks and the days between bigger adventures. This is everyday outdoor apparel rather than technical hiking gear, so for cold, wet or exposed conditions, choose your layers accordingly.

Check the Fit Before You Order

This T-shirt has a regular fit and comes in sizes XS through 5XL. Compare the garment measurements with a T-shirt you already own and like before ordering, especially if you're between sizes or prefer a little more room through the body.

Choose from Charcoal, Navy, Black, Military Green, Maroon, Heather Indigo, Sand and Heather Galapagos Blue.
